The Bible School of the Americas
Lima, Peru
The school in Lima began in February 2006 to train men for the evangelization of Peru. The men who complete the program receive a Bachelors of Arts degree in Bible. The wives of students complete enough course work to receive a Associates Degree in Bible.
The school is a joint effort of the Forest Park church in Valdosta, Georgia and the Bear Valley Bible Institute of Denver a work of the Bear Valley church in Denver, Colorado.
The graduates of the school will preach for existing congregations as well as locate throughout Peru establishing new congregations. At present there are only a few congregations in existence outside of the capital city of Lima. Some men will attend the graduate program in Panama and used to as teachers in Peru and other schools in South America.
