The faculty and staff
of the Bear Valley Bible Institute of Denver have decided to
no longer offer a Bachelor of Biblical Studies degree to graduates
of other schools.
Our initial reason for offering these degrees was because of
our firm conviction that individuals who went through recognized
schools of preaching deserved a degree that reflected the amount
of work they have done. This reason remains true.
However, in an effort to be more consistent with degree granting
institutions, we are only going to be able to offer degrees
to individuals who complete at least one half of our program.
It did not make sense for Bear Valley to be graduating men
that we never met and had no knowledge of their work ethic,
character and doctrinal soundness.
If you have any questions regarding this decision, please contact
Denny Petrillo at dpetrillo@bvbid.org.
If you are a graduate of a preacher school, and want to enroll in Bear Valley’s MBS program (Master of Biblical Studies), you will be exempted from this new policy. For instructions of what you should do, see Master's Leveling requirements here.
