Requirements

The following items will be required for all new incoming students beginning September 2007:

LAPTOP COMPUTER
Each student will need a laptop computer for taking notes, writing papers, etc. As our course loads have changed, we have found that students who do not bring a computer to school quickly realize the need for one and have to try to catch up. We realize that this is a high cost item, but we also feel very strongly that it is now a necessity.

LOGOS BIBLE SOFTWARE
Bible study software has made tremendous leaps in the last few years toward helping student dig deeper in the Scriptures in ways that were impossible before. In an effort to train our students to use these advanced tools, we are now requiring all students to have the Logos Bible Software. Because of our new requirement, Logos has offered our students a 50% discount on this extremely powerful study tool; you can even extend payments out over time with no interest when purchasing their software. We realize that there are other very capable programs on the market for doing Bible Study; however we have selected the Logos product for the vastness of its library and its depth in the original languages. There are a number of different packages available, but we strongly recommend the SCHOLAR'S SILVER LIBRARY. If finances allow, you may want to add the BDAG/HALOT Bundle at the time of purchase. If finances are too tight, we would recommend the SCHOLAR'S LIBRARY as a minimum package for your work here in school.

In order to obtain the discounts, you must purchase this software through a special website that Logos has set up exclusively for our students. This software places a demanding load on your computer system as well, and you would do well to buy a laptop that can handle this load. You will have a class that will train you to use this very powerful tool.
